We are pleased to announce our next trade awareness course will take place in North Yorkshire on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th June.
This course concentrates on ruminants and grain and we are aiming to show delegates 2 primary uses of grain, following the journey to the final consumer products by visiting a variety of sites
A bulk hauliers to see how grain is initially stored and transported
Masham Micronised Feeds – a long standing animal feed factory owned by I’Anson Bros Ltd
Waterloo House – a brand new facility also owned by I’Anson Bros Ltd
A traditional dairy farm
A modern dairy farm utilising technology
A large commercial dairy which processes and distributes 750,000 litres of milk and cream a day
A well known brewery to learn about the process of using barley to produce a variety of beers.
The cost of this 2 day course is £350 for members and £395 for non-members to include overnight accommodation, all meals and coach transportation for the duration of the course.
